GRAHAM TAYLOR
Graham’s creative practice takes many different forms; he uses writing and performance to explore complex ideas and theories that reframe social interactions and everyday occurrences, whether through the creation of alter egos, like the fabulous Petra Dish, or through creative ventures like TRYBE and OVERT OPERATIONS.
We first worked with Graham when he was a first year Fine Art student at Falmouth University - he took up the mantle to act as performer for a Masters student as part of Jesse Leroy Smith’s Dark Rooms, before the building became CAST. Since then he’s created a reenactment of re-enactors re-enacting as part of Inland Art Festival and taken on a bursary as part of Penryn Arts Festival, amongst other things.

In 2020 we commissioned him for From the Field, where he took over our Instagram for five days of performance exploring three speculative questions with a sense of universal pertinence in the climate of the COVID-19 pandemic. This led to the creation of a hand-made publication, in which Graham reflected on the actions and interactions related to each question of Some sketches of speculative performance. He has recently finished his Masters in Performance Making at Goldsmiths.
